The 2026 D2 Summit was one for the books for Northwest SilverStars. From unforgettable team bonding moments to incredible performances on the mat, our athletes represented the Pacific Northwest with passion, resilience, and pride every single day we were in Florida.

We kicked off the trip with one of our favorite traditions — the SilverStars Safari! Athletes and families got to experience Disney’s Animal Kingdom together, spotting elephants, rhinos, and finally getting lucky enough to see the lions out. It was the perfect way to start a week focused not only on competing, but creating memories together as a Star Family.

That evening, teams headed into practice mode with performance routines and stunt show-off circles to remind our bodies that yes… we actually can stunt in Florida. After a successful first practice, athletes got to enjoy some fun at Magic Kingdom, riding Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and soaking in the excitement of Summit week together.

Day two brought one of the moments many athletes had been looking forward to the most — football field practice day. Even under the Florida heat, our athletes never let it show. Pyramid after pyramid, elite stunt after elite stunt, these teams pushed through with confidence and determination. It was especially exciting getting to share the environment with programs like React Elite and Hero Athletics. Between the beautiful stunts, fun team pictures, and cooling off in the pool afterward, it became a day our athletes will remember for a long time.

Later that night, teams headed to Coronado Springs for another focused practice where athletes worked stunt routines, tumbling warmups, and performance details. The new jerseys looked incredible under the lights, and the energy heading into semifinals was something special. Dynasty closed out the evening with a team dinner before everyone got much-needed rest before competition day.

Dynasty Makes Program History

Dynasty entered Summit this year competing in Senior Coed 4 for the very first time in program history — and they rose to the occasion in every possible way.

On Day 1, Dynasty delivered their highest score of the season despite a small legality issue, earning first place heading into finals. Instead of letting pressure shake them, they came back even stronger on Day 2 with an incredible 98.2 performance score to finish as silver medalists in the nation.

Not only did Dynasty prove themselves among the best in the country, but they also finished as the highest-ranked D2 team in the Pacific Northwest. #ItsGoodToBeSilver

Sapphires Leaves It All on the Floor

Sapphires, our crossover Junior 3 Flex team, gave an unforgettable performance during semifinals. From the second they stepped on stage, it was obvious they were having the time of their lives. Their joy, passion, and confidence radiated through every part of the routine.

While their division was incredibly competitive and they did not advance to finals, this team represented SilverStars with so much heart and determination.

RAD Performs Fearlessly

RAD took the stage on Saturday with a performance full of confidence and passion. Their energy was contagious, and they truly looked fearless while performing their hearts out.

The Junior 2 division at Summit is one of the deepest and most competitive divisions in all of D2, and while RAD did not advance to finals, they walked off the floor knowing they gave everything they had.

Code Blue Hits a Beautiful Zero Deduction Routine

Code Blue closed out their season with a beautiful zero deduction performance at Summit. Their stunt execution, pyramids, tosses, and running tumbling all scored incredibly high, with several execution categories reaching the .9 range — nearly perfect execution.

Although their division was another extremely competitive bracket and they did not advance to finals, this team proved exactly what SilverStars is about: grit, growth, teamwork, and heart.

More Than Just Results

While Summit is one of the biggest stages in all-star cheerleading, what made this trip truly special went far beyond placements and scores. It was the laughter with Mayor Derek, the prayer circles before performances, the late-night Disney memories, the pool celebrations after practices, and the way these athletes constantly supported one another every step of the way.

We are so proud of every athlete, coach, and family member who represented Northwest SilverStars at the 2026 D2 Summit. Thank you for making this season unforgettable.
